This is Ambrose Chapel. I think that was were Dad went, if I remember correctly.
Anyway, it is a pretty cool looking entryway. |

Ah, my brothers! This is obviously a re-creation of the famous
Abbey Road photo of the Beatles. While my brothers are neither famous
or talented, I like to think of them as insects, so the allusion
still works. |
 |
This is a photo of my brothers in the cathedral that my parents
got married in, way back in '49. The caretakers let us wander around
and take pictures, and gave us alot of it's history. |

Mike, Jim, Tom and Jesus standing in front of the old grade school. When
Mike and Jim were enrolled, Jesus had just graduated. |

Ah, the happy memories of childhood. It is a well known fact that
smells bring back memories sharper that any other sense, however if Mike
points that out, it is a genuine opportunity for ridicule. Why? I guess
because with my brothers, any chance is a good chance to ridicule! |

This is the chapel in which Mom and Dad got married. It was
pretty dark in there, so the pic is a bit fuzzy. |

Here is the childhood home on Kirkwood Street. Kirkwood was a pretty little
street with a real good feel to it, unlike most of the rest of Davenport (it's gone
kinda downhill since the old days). |
 |
Here are my brothers sitting in front of the house on Kirkwood,
remembering what the view was like 40 years ago.
The people who own it now let us wander around through it and hang out for
awhile. |

Mike spent his senior year of high school here in Davenport at Central High.
In addition to "cruising the ones" reliving Friday nights, he pointed out where
there used to be cornfields (no doubt reliving Saturday nights as well). |
